Welcome to Philip Morris International’s affiliates in the Baltics. Philip Morris Lithuania was established in 1993, when we acquired a major interest in the State Tobacco Factory. In 2006, we established our headquarters in the capital, Vilnius.
In the other Baltic countries, we established Oü Philip Morris Eesti in Tallinn, Estonia in 1996. In 1997, we opened an office in Latvia, followed by SIA Philip Morris Latvia in the capital Riga in 2000.

In 1997, we opened a new manufacturing facility in Klaipėda, Lithuania, the first greenfield project of its kind in the Baltics.
In the Baltic region, we focus our corporate contributions and community support on social programs that address the most pressing human and societal needs, including hunger and extreme poverty, education, and prevention of domestic violence.
Philip Morris International's affiliate in Lithuania, JSC “Philip Morris Lietuva” (PML), is applying for the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) certification this year. It is PMI's strategy to implement AWS Standard in all its manufacturing plants worldwide by the end of 2025.
