We embed respect for human rights in our culture so that human rights principles govern the way we work with employees, suppliers, consumers and the communities where we operate. Our human rights commitments are in line with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and is embedded in our Responsible Sourcing Principles. In the diverse and challenging environments where we operate and supply from, we focus our attentions on the greatest potential for human rights risks.
We continuously look to improve our practices with respect to identifying risks to “rights holders”, and we are strengthening our due-diligence processes to help drive continuous improvements and raise standards across our value chain. Our Human Rights Roadmap directs the actions across functions that are targeted to be delivered by the end of 2020, ranging from capacity-building and due-diligence processes to grievance mechanisms and clear reporting.
